Summary
RAH GILI MALDIVES is the first property from SIX & SIX PRIVATE ISLANDS, a new brand focused on modern, experience-led luxury in the Indian Ocean. The resort is located in South Malé Atoll, next to a dolphin sanctuary, and is designed around sensory detail, emotional connection, and a strong sense of place.
RAH GILI is designed as more than a private retreat. It aims to help guests connect with the natural environment, explore new approaches to wellness, and experience a thoughtful, story-driven form of hospitality. As the first of six planned private islands, it introduces a new standard for luxury in the Maldives.
The island has 74 private villas, including 38 overwater options. All villas feature private pools and layouts that blend indoor and outdoor living. The design uses natural, locally inspired materials such as wood, stone, and linen to create a simple yet refined atmosphere.
Dining includes six restaurants and four bars, supported by pop-ups, in-villa service, and destination dining. Each venue has its own concept, with menus and settings designed to work together. A Music Curator shapes the island’s atmosphere throughout the day, from early mornings to sunset and evening.
The spa is run by ELE|NA and follows the Five Elements of Nature—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Treatments combine Maldivian healing traditions with global practices, using bodywork, breath, and seasonal rhythms to support well-being. The program is complemented by visiting specialists in fitness and nutrition.
Other facilities include a Kids Club, outdoor cinema, gym, multi-sport courts, a water sports and dive centre, and a curated boutique. The house reef provides direct access to marine life and some of the Maldives’ best snorkelling and diving.
