Niva Velassaru offers a diverse collection of beachfront and overwater villas and bungalows, designed with modern interiors, natural tones and generous indoor-outdoor living spaces. Beach accommodation includes Deluxe Villas with direct beach access and private garden sanctuaries, Beach Villas with Pool featuring oversized bathrooms and plunge pools, and exclusive Deluxe Pool Villas offering complete seclusion within private courtyards. For families or groups, the Two Bedroom Deluxe Villas provide interconnecting spaces that balance togetherness with privacy.

Overwater options include minimalist Water Villas perched above the lagoon, some with private plunge pools, as well as larger Water Villas with Pool and Water Bungalows with Pool that open onto expansive sundecks. At the pinnacle is the Water Suite, an indulgent overwater sanctuary with infinity pool, private bar, home theatre system, outdoor rain shower and personalised butler service. Select villas also benefit from personal butler service, private dining areas and enhanced privacy features.

Restaurants & Bars

The resort features five restaurants and two bars, offering a wide-ranging culinary journey that spans international, Asian, Mediterranean and Indian Ocean influences. Dining settings range from relaxed beachfront venues to immersive overwater food theatres.

Turquoise serves integrated international cuisine with continental and Asian influences in a shaded, beachfront setting, while Sand offers a laid-back world-cuisine buffet showcasing imported meats, fresh local seafood and global flavours. Etesian delivers a refined Mediterranean-inspired menu in an intimate, serene environment, and Teppanyaki presents Japanese cuisine with theatrical flair, featuring live cooking, sushi and sashimi against panoramic ocean views. Vela provides Pan-Indian Ocean specialities in a dramatic oceanfront setting, ideal for sunset dining.

Fen Bar is a modern beachfront bar offering Asian and European light bites alongside wines and creative cocktails, while Chill Bar is perched over the lagoon, specialising in expertly crafted drinks, tapas-style fare and uninterrupted sunset views.

Facilities & Activities

The Spa features ten overwater treatment rooms (including couples’ suites), a hydropool suspended above the lagoon, steam room, relaxation areas and bespoke wellness programmes delivered by skilled therapists.

Recreational facilities include an infinity pool with beach and ocean views, a fully equipped gym, tennis court, Velassaru Lounge and a PADI-certified dive centre. Complimentary activities include guided snorkelling tours, morning cruises, sunset beach yoga and snorkelling equipment.
