Constance Moofushi remains one of our top recommendations — and for good reason. This compact island, measuring just 300 by 160 metres, wraps soft white sand and excellent snorkelling into a genuinely special all-inclusive package.

The atmosphere shifts beautifully from relaxed and unhurried during the day to something livelier and more sociable come evening. It has that rare quality of being both peaceful and energising at the same time.

The all-inclusive offering here is genuinely comprehensive. International wine lists, premium spirits, complimentary Wi-Fi and plenty of extras are all included — one of the most generous packages at this category.

The look and feel blends Robinson Crusoe charm with sleek, barefoot luxury and a proper five-star finish. Whether you are celebrating a honeymoon or simply escaping the everyday, it delivers. This one sits firmly among our favourites.

Snorkelling beginners are especially well catered for. Moofushi benefits from three large lagoons and a protective house reef, which makes for calm, accessible water. That is a rare combination, even in the South Ari Atoll.

Location

Moofushi sits in the South Ari Atoll, widely recognised as one of the finest diving regions in the world. The resort appeals particularly to food lovers, divers and anyone seeking premium beachfront relaxation. A 35-minute seaplane transfer from Malé brings you here, and within 30 to 60 minutes you will find some of the Maldives' most famous dive sites: Maaya Thila (known for grey reef sharks), Rasdhoo Madivaru Kandu (spectacular reef formations) and Fish Head (the most celebrated site in the country, rich with caves and marine life, suitable for all experience levels).

Villas

Every villa comes with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, an outdoor terrace, complimentary Wi-Fi, an LCD TV, a minibar, an in-room safe, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Dining

Guests have two restaurants and two bars to choose from, all included in the all-inclusive package. Children's menu options are available at both restaurants and the Totem bar.

Constance Spa
Set over the ocean on a wooden jetty, the spa offers a shaded, tranquil setting for massages, facials and body treatments using natural ingredients inspired by the Indian Ocean. Six single treatment rooms and two doubles are available.

BlueTribe
A PADI 5-star dive centre — one of the Maldives' highest-rated. Non-motorised water sports including kayaks, pedal boats and paddleboards are complimentary.

Sports and Leisure
