Our Opinion
Centara Ras Fushi is the second Maldivian property from Thai hospitality group Centara, delivering a 4-star all-inclusive experience in an adults-only setting (guests aged 12 and over). The resort packs a surprising amount into a compact island — curved architectural lines give it a distinctive feel, and facilities include four restaurants, an over-water bar, and a spa.
Rooms are contemporary but compact, with a strict two-guest limit. Island rooms have stylish bathrooms, while the water villas benefit from generously proportioned steps into the lagoon — a thoughtful touch that makes getting in and out with flippers far easier.
The island’s proximity to Malé is the main compromise: the city and its industrial fringe are visible from certain angles. But the villas are oriented away from it, and once you’re looking out over open ocean it’s remarkably easy to forget how close you are. If that trade-off works for you, this is excellent value.
