dusitD2 Feydhoo
Our Opinion
dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives feels purpose-built for a lighter, more sociable kind of Maldivian escape. Just a short speedboat hop from Malé, it is exceptionally easy to reach, and that accessibility immediately sets it apart from the more secluded islands. The resort leans into its all-inclusive, contemporary brief, with lively communal spaces and a very approachable atmosphere rather than a castaway feel.
The arrival is straightforward and the resort already feels settled into its identity. The island has a fresh, contemporary look, with landscaping still filling out, but the overall layout makes sense and keeps the focus on the social and lifestyle-led spaces rather than on traditional barefoot romance.
Accommodation works well for the category. Beach Pool Villas stand out for their generous size, private pools and separate sleeping areas, making them especially practical for families or guests wanting more breathing room. The styling is simple and modern, with sensible details and a clean finish throughout.
Midi is the resort’s social hub, and it really gives the place its pulse. It works nicely as a beach club by day and becomes more atmospheric in the evening, so whether you want lunch by the pool or sunset drinks with music, it delivers the resort’s core vibe very effectively. Cocoon adds another layer, giving guests a more informal space for music and socialising.
The food offering is broad and flexible, which suits the all-inclusive format well. Baraveli handles the main buffet service with a generous spread and themed dinners, while Midi keeps things relaxed and accessible with its Mediterranean-style menu. Being able to move between venues without friction is a genuine part of the appeal.
Facilities are well matched to the resort’s positioning. There is a good gym, spa, tennis and pickleball, plus kids’ and teens’ clubs that make the resort straightforward for mixed-age stays. Snorkelling is not the strongest card here, but boat access to better sites and diving excursions to the Feydhoo Caves help widen the experience.
Service feels friendly and upbeat, which helps the resort’s easy-going, social tone land well.
Overall, dusitD2 Feydhoo is a polished, contemporary all-inclusive that will suit couples, families and groups who value convenience, flexibility and a fun atmosphere more than a remote island setting.
