Our Opinion

Access to Kudafushi is via seaplane or a combination of domestic flight and speedboat. The resort offers well-appointed beach and overwater villas, all detached, across a 4-star standard.

The house reef is easily reached from the beach, making it a good choice for snorkellers and divers. The island has a lively atmosphere and, while some parts can feel busy, it works well for families and young couples who want more activity on their holiday.

Please note that snorkelling equipment carries a rental charge.

Kudafushi Resort & Spa sits in Raa Atoll, a northern Maldivian atoll known for its rich marine life and uncrowded waters.

The resort is reached by a scenic 45-minute seaplane from Malé (timings depend on the independent seaplane schedule), or via a 30-minute domestic flight to Ifuru Domestic Airport followed by a 25-minute speedboat transfer.

Accommodation spans beach and overwater villas, with a number of pool villa options available across both categories. The style is well-appointed and comfortable at this 4-star level.

Meal plan choices include a soft all-inclusive option (excluding alcohol), which makes Kudafushi a particularly good fit for young families or those watching their budget.
