Our Opinion

Lily Beach is located in South Ari Atoll, one of the Maldives' better dive zones, and the combination of a 25-minute seaplane and short boat transfer keeps travel time manageable. The house reef offers reasonable snorkelling, and the diving in this part of the atoll is first class.

The accommodation is comfortable and well laid out, though some villas are beginning to show their age and would benefit from a refresh. The 5-star All-Inclusive Platinum Plan is genuinely comprehensive, covering fine dining, premium drinks, excursions, and sports activities -- which makes it a strong offering for families and groups who want an inclusive package without compromising on variety.

Overall, Lily Beach is a solid, well-regarded resort with good snorkelling access and a generous all-inclusive programme, but the accommodation would benefit from some modernisation.
