In the North Male atoll and just minutes from the airport, OBLU SELECT Lobigili positions itself as a five-star, couples-only all-inclusive escape. Its Dhivehi name translates to Love Island, and the resort leans into that romantic concept throughout.

Accommodation choices include the sunset-facing SunNest Beach Pool Villas, plus overwater options in the SunNest Water Pool Villas (with private pools) and the more affordable Nest Water Villas (without).

Dining centres on an a la carte restaurant and a pool bar, but the highlight is Only BLU, a fine-dining underwater restaurant. Guests staying four nights or longer get a complimentary meal there as part of the inclusive plan, which adds real value for those seeking a special experience.

OBLU SELECT Lobigili is an adults-only, five-star resort in the North Male Atoll, a short 15-minute speedboat ride from Male International Airport. Designed as an intimate retreat for couples, it blends contemporary style with a secluded island atmosphere.

The resort has 68 villas spread along a pristine white beach and above a turquoise lagoon. Accommodation is split across three categories: the beachfront SunNest Beach Pool Villas (62 m2) with open-air bathrooms and private plunge pools; the overwater SunNest Water Pool Villas (75 m2) with direct lagoon access; and the Nest Water Villas, offering the same spacious layout without a private pool. Every villa comes with a king-size bed, air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, a minibar restocked daily, tea and coffee facilities, and an outdoor deck or veranda.

Dining revolves around four distinct venues. Ylang-Ylang is the main restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner a la carte with live cooking stations and themed evenings. The Swing Bar offers a relaxed infinity pool setting with cocktails, mocktails and afternoon snacks alongside live music. Only BLU is the resorts signature underwater restaurant, providing fine-dining surrounded by marine life (pre-booking required and complimentary for stays of four nights or more). Gaadiya 17 rounds things out with casual grilled meals in a food-truck style setting under the palms.

The Lobi Plan all-inclusive package covers daily live entertainment, unlimited access to the overwater fitness centre, and pre-bookable tennis court use. For relaxation, the ELE|NA Ayur Spa offers a full menu of treatments, while the lagoon and nearby dive sites deliver excellent snorkelling and scuba diving through the PADI-certified watersports centre. Complimentary snorkelling gear, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are included.
