Anantara Kihavah Villas

Overview
Summary
A haven of pool villas, Anantara Kihavah Villas is a Maldives luxury resort that offers the ultimate in privacy and tranquillity. Expansive space that opens on to brilliant tropical nature, with private pools, high ceilings and timber interiors. Flavours of culinary art and wine served amidst a panorama of aquatic life in one of the few underwater restaurants and wine cellars in the world.

Enjoy idyllic sunsets from your hammock or dining pavilion by the pool. Snorkel through crystal clear waters or float above the surface aboard a private sailboat. Spend the day rejuvenating at the Anantara Spa. Discover new meanings of paradise and luxurious seclusion at one of the foremost Maldives resorts.

Dining

SEA.FIRE.SPICE.SKY

The resort's signature experience, which presents four different perspectives on the Indian Ocean. At SEA, guests dine alongside the world’s first underwater wine cellar, watching marine life pass by while enjoying an international menu. FIRE has undergone a recent transformation, and now features elevated Japanese and Peruvian cuisines. At SPICE, guests can enjoy Asian haute cuisine in a spectacular over water setting, paired with cocktails and regional wines, while the SKY rooftop lounge hosts the Maldives' first over water observatory and its most powerful telescope.

Plates

Plates serves as the main dining venue for breakfast, offering everything from fruit and yoghurt to pastries, eggs cooked to order, and Champagne. In the evening, it switches to a buffet featuring Maldivian seafood and regional dishes.

Manzaru Pool Bar & Restaurant

Manzaru sits beside one of the island’s longest pools, where guests can relax with drinks, fruit skewers, and cold towels throughout the day. The daytime menu focuses on Mediterranean favourites, while evening brings an Italian-inspired selection paired with a curated wine list.

For a more personalised experience, Dining by Design lets guests work with a private chef to create a custom menu, which is then served by their butler at a location of their choice.

Resort Activities & Facilities

Snorkelling, Diving, and Watersports

Snorkellers can enjoy the resort’s house reef, known for calm waters and vibrant marine life. Fins and masks are provided, allowing guests to explore at their own pace while watching an array of Indian Ocean species just below the surface.

At the Elements Dive Centre, guests can join PADI courses suited to all experience levels, from beginners to advanced divers looking to customise trips with the Dive Master. Divers can expect colourful coral gardens, abundant tropical fish, and access to impressive nearby reefs.

Guests can choose from a range of watersports, from fast-paced options like jet skiing and parasailing to slower, more exploratory experiences such as Seadart rides.

Anantara Spa

The overwater spa offers a calming setting where the sound of the ocean guides you into a state of deep relaxation. Guests can choose from signature treatments that use natural, locally inspired ingredients, including traditional Thai massage techniques and time-honoured Ayurvedic therapies designed to restore balance and promote overall wellbeing.

The spa features six overwater treatment rooms, as well as dedicated spaces for bath rituals and quiet post-treatment relaxation. Facilities include both warm and cold plunge pools overlooking the water, along with an infrared sauna and a Finnish sauna, giving guests a full range of ways to unwind and rejuvenate.

Activities on Land

Guests can also explore the island at their own pace by bicycle or take on the 9-metre jungle climbing wall, which provides a fun challenge for adults and children over eight. For racquet sports, the resort offers an open-air padel court set among tropical greenery, a floodlit tennis court with optional coaching, and a badminton area suited to both casual rallies and competitive play.

Those looking to stay consistent with their fitness routines can make use of the 24-hour gym, equipped with cardio machines, treadmills, and free weights. And for something different, try the Maldives’ first Muay Thai boxing ring, which offers private sessions for all ages, focusing on technique, coordination, and full-body conditioning.
